APEX
Questions & answers

Straight answers, no jargon.

If something here doesn't cover it, the whitepaper goes deeper and the support page will get you a human.

Getting started

What is Apex Protocol, in one sentence?

A mobile-first crypto network where taking part costs nothing — you mine two tokens, APX and SOLB, from your phone, and your standing in the network (your hash) decides your share.

How do I join?

Download the app from Google Play and enter an invitation code from someone already in the network. That referral link is what ties the graph of participants together, so there’s no open sign-up without one.

Does it really cost nothing?

Yes. There is no purchase, no deposit, and no subscription anywhere in the protocol. Apex sells nothing. Your phone and your presence are the entire cost of entry.

Does it drain my battery or data?

No. Your device does not perform real cryptographic proof-of-work. Blocks are counted by the server on a fixed clock, so nothing depends on your phone grinding away in the background.

Mining & hash

How does mining work?

A block completes every ten minutes, up to 150 in a cycle (about 25 hours). The reward tapers 5% per block, and claiming resets the cycle to full rate — so coming back often earns you far more than letting a cycle run to its ceiling.

What is hash?

Hash is your standing in the network and a multiplier on everything you mine. Rates are quoted per 100,000 hash, so 246,000 hash earns 2.46× the quoted rate on every block. See the whitepaper for the full model.

Why is hash capped at 1,000,000?

So no one can compound into a whale. An uncapped standing metric would let the earliest accounts eventually own the whole emission. The cap is enforced by the database itself and applies identically to everyone — the founder included.

How do I earn more hash?

By taking part: referring people who actually mine, joining HashCards, exchanging GiftCards, and completing quests. Every source is capped and visible to you in the app.

Tokens & value

What are APX and SOLB?

APX is the network’s backbone asset; SOLB (Solbank) leans toward digital finance. They’re mined and credited separately — never pooled, never silently converted.

What is the total supply?

We deliberately don’t publish a headline supply figure. Rates and pool sizes are tunable parameters, read live in the app; a whitepaper number would go stale the first time one changed. Here’s why in full →

Can I withdraw or sell my balance now?

Not yet. Balances are internal protocol balances (off-chain) during the growth phase. Withdrawable balances and on-chain settlement are the next steps on the roadmap — and we won’t pretend they’re done before they are.

Is this an investment?

No, and nothing on this site is investment advice or a promise of future value. Apex is a participation network first; any value follows real use, not the other way around.

Safety

Apex is asking me to pay to claim my coins. Is that real?

No — that is a scam. Apex sells nothing and never charges to claim, unlock, or “activate” a balance. Tokens are only ever mined and claimed inside the official app. Report impersonators to support@apexprotocol.cloud.

Is there a presale or token sale?

No. There has never been a presale, ICO, or crowdsale. Anyone running one in Apex’s name is fraudulent and unauthorised.

How is my data handled?

There’s no public leaderboard, and the site reads only public protocol stats — never your account. See the privacy policy.

Still have a question?

Write to us, or just download the app — most things click into place once you’ve mined a block.
